Qcom has a New Name

Thanks to you, all our customers, Qcom has had another strong year and to reflect our success we have rebranded…

In order to reflect our development as an outsourcing provider of technical services we have officially named the company Qcom Outsourcing Ltd.

While this is only a small evolution, it recognises how far the company has come from our early days of simply maintaining Auto ID equipment to now providing multi-technology, technical functions and consultancy to businesses across the UK and Europe.

Over the last 12 months, new business wins have brought additional capability to Qcom including wireless network infrastructure, enhanced line printer experience, and 10 more technical staff have joined us.

We’re looking forward to our continued evolution, fuelled to no small degree by the expectations of you, our customers, and rapid changes in technology such as the convergence of IT and telecoms technology.

Tally Ho!

More new business…we have just purchased the
UK & Ireland service business of TallyGenicom Ltd. In doing so, we welcome over 200 new clients and look forward to providing them with Qcom’s world-leading service levels.

Over the coming days our sales and service teams will be in contact with all TallyGenicom’s clients. It is also our intention to provide details of contract pricing to existing Qcom clients who encounter TallyGenicom printers.

We acquired the TallyGenicom UK business from the administrators and I am confident that the deal will facilitate Qcom’s growth plans whilst at the same time providing TallyGenicom’s clients with the important reassurance that their service contracts will be honoured - thereby protecting their investment in TallyGenicom printers well into the future.
