
David Anderson – Chairman
David is an experienced electrical engineer who, after graduating from Manchester University, began his career with British Aerospace as part of the systems design team for the Tornado fighter. David went on to join the Birmingham University Computer Centre as Operations Manager. It was during his time here that he founded Qcom electronics to design electronic interfaces. This company went on to become Qcom computers and finally the Qcom Maintenance Ltd of today.
David still enjoys computer programming, all aspects of technology as well as model engineering, classical music and playing the piano.
Neil Anderson – Managing Director
Neil was educated at Cambridge University where he gained a first class honours degree in geography. He then joined Qcom and has worked in all aspects of the business before becoming Managing Director. Neil has a wealth of experience of both the general IT and Auto ID markets which has enabled him to develop the company into one of the country’s leading suppliers of IT maintenance and outsourced technical services.
A keen climber and passionate about organic cultivation Neil lives on a small holding in Herefordshire with his wife Katie and three children where he breeds rare sheep and Alpacas.
Tony Timberlake – Non-executive Finance Adviser
After graduating from Oxford University Tony trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen (1966), becoming a partner in 1974 and then Managing Partner for the Midlands from 1976. In 1989 Tony set up his own consultancy and since then, he has acted as Finance Director on behalf of a number of businesses and undertaken a wide variety of fund-raising and other projects. He became Chief Executive of Secantor in 2001, a consultancy that provides management support to growing businesses.
Tony is married to Sue, has two grown up children and is a keen golfer and fine wine enthusiast.
Matthew Bonham
With ONCs in both computer studies and electrical and electronic engineering, Matthew joined Qcom in 1994. Progressing quickly through the various roles of Field Engineer, Workshop Supervisor, Midlands Regional Service Manager and finally Service manager, Matthew has a wealth of hands on experience of all types of equipment in a wide variety of customer types and mission critical environments.
Matthew lives with his wife and young daughter, is a keen climber, scout master and car enthusiast.
