Senior Sales Administrator

The Role

  • To lead internal sales and achieving sales targets for C Account clients.
  • Researching and quantifying new business opportunities.
  • Preparing quotes, contract renewals and supporting the transitioning of new business.
  • Supporting the Sales and Marketing Team

Key Responsibilities

  1. To lead internal sales and achieving sales targets for C Account clients
  • Establishing annual sales targets and plans for all C Accounts.
  • Creating strong relationships with clients.
  • Seeking out opportunities across the client account.
  • Strong systems of follow up on sales opportunities.
  • Good use of Workbooks CRM to coordinate and report on activities and outcomes.
  1. Researching and quantifying new business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills to research complex organizations, identify key decision makers, identify and quantify opportunities.
  • Excellent use of the telephone and social networks.
  • Preparation of excellent briefs for National Sales Managers.
  • Excellent systems of follow up using Workbooks CRM.
  1. Preparing quotes, contract renewals and supporting the transitioning of new business.
  • Ability to interpret the client requirements and generate practical and commercially successful solutions.
  • Writing quotes and proposals for new business and contract renewals.
  • Good written and verbal skills to set out clear briefs for the Operations Team.
  • Strong communication skills to act as the conduit between the client, National Sales Manager and the Operations Team to ensure smooth transition of new business.
  1. Supporting the Sales and Marketing Team.
  • To support the National Sales Managers in preparing client proposals.
  • Researching new business prospectsand opportunities.
  • Supporting the preparation and delivery of Marketing Campaigns.
  • Market and sales analysis. Quantifying Qcom performance versus competitors and key market segments.

Experience & Qualifications

The role will appeal to people who:

  • Are seeking perhaps their second or third job and have two or three years experience of working in a busy sales and marketing environment.
  • A more experienced person perhaps looking to return to the workplace
  • Someone who has the basic skill set to undertake the role, but his or her previous employment was in a different area.
  • A relationship person - great at building rapport, winning people’s confidence and strong at follow through.
  • Well organized - a natural at getting things done, a list maker who wins people’s confidence at always finishing jobs.
  • Communicator - good written communication skills.
