The power of collaboration

I was interested to hear yesterday morning on BBC Radio 4s “Thought for the Day” that what distinguishes mankind from other animals is that we use singing to come together, rather than just to communicate. This is because we have an innate desire/need to collaborate.

I am a great believer in the power of collaboration and the need in the 21st century to have.  At Qcom, we take this collaboration further and put our belief in outsourcing into action, practicing what we preach so to speak, by also outsourcing many of our own non-core functions and building up strategic relationships with suppliers. This gives us not only great flexibility and scalability but also cost control.

By operating a collaborative borderless enterprise, we aim to maximise returns and resources for all constituents alike.
