Customer Service Advisor

About the Role:

Qcom is the UK’s leading provider of technical support solutions for manufacturers of technology, delivering multi-technology services to a wide range of clients throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.

We’re looking for dynamic individuals with a can-do attitude to join our busy customer service team at our head office in Droitwich Spa.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be part of a growing team responsible for delivering first-class service and exceeding customer expectations.

You’ll be the first point of contact for a wide range of customers so you’ll need to be professional, ready for anything and a real team player.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from customers.
  • Manage multiple email inboxes and provide timely responses.
  • Log service calls on the in house Service Management System.
  • Proactively communicate with customers by phone or email to provide service updates.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure that the swift progression of enquiries and service calls.
  • Provide first-class customer service and promote a customer focused ethos within Qcom.
  • Day to day admin duties to ensure the smooth operation of the helpdesk.

 

Key skills

  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Able to build rapport with customers and engineers on the telephone.
  • Can work to deadlines and has the ability to multitask.
  • Able to work under pressure and go the extra mile.
  • Able to provide a committed and determined approach to managing problems.
  • Confident IT user with experience of working with Microsoft Office and in-house systems.

 

Full Time position

Location: Droitwich

Salary: £16,000+

Benefits: 20 Days holiday, rising to 25 after 5 years.
