We are recruiting for Field Service Engineer roles in the following locations: Manchester; Kent; Plymouth; Taunton; Southampton.
The responsibilities of a Qcom Field Service Engineer include:
Essential skills include:
Experience of the break/fix, preventative maintenance and installation of retail and similar technology equipment (including barcode scanners, EPOS, office printers/photocopiers, smart lockers, car parking systems and other electrical and mechanical equipment) is beneficial but not essential, as first-rate and ongoing manufacturer and in-house training is provided.
This role will suit candidates with strong technical and communication skills. Punctuality and reliability are essential, as is the flexibility to meet a requirement for occasional weekend and out-of-hours work.
The ideal candidate will be presentable, approachable and have a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to ‘go the extra mile’. It is an ideal role for self-motivated individuals who can operate on their own initiative.
You will have a good standard of secondary-level education, good Microsoft Word and Excel skills, and ideally an IT or engineering qualification.
Most importantly of you, you will be passionate about your work, take pride in helping customers, and have good customer service and community skills.
An eagerness to learn is essential!
