Qcom increases medical technology focus with launch of Qcom Medtech

Technical services company Qcom has launched Qcom Medtech, a specialist division providing engineering and technical support services to the fast-growing medical technology sector.

Qcom has a long track record of supporting the manufacturers of medical devices and equipment, providing whole-of-life technical services including commissioning, installation, and warranty maintenance and repair at hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and laboratories throughout the UK and Ireland.

With demand growing across all healthcare service and technology types, the new division has been launched to allow Qcom to further increase its focus and investment in this area.

Qcom undertakes some 60,000 field engineering visits across the UK and Ireland every year. Its nationwide network of engineers and technical consultants is supported by a pan-European service, support and logistics infrastructure.
