Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2022

Qcom is delighted to support National Apprenticeship Week and reflect on another 12 months of successful investment in new talent. 

National Apprenticeship Week, from 7-13 February, brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.  

Apprenticeships have long been important to Qcom, providing a highly effective framework for us to invest in the future of our business.  

Through a range of different schemes, we have consistently recruited and developed apprentices to complement the wealth of experience found throughout the company. 

Case study 

By way of example, the last 12 months has seen the excellent progress of Joel Gutteridge, who has recently passed his Level 2 Stock and Logistics Course and taken his place as a key part of of the logistics team in the Qcom Technical Resource Centre, still learning every day by working alongside experienced colleagues. 

Joel is just one of many apprentices to gain further qualifications during their time working at Qcom, as the business continues to acknowledge the importance of investing in its employees.
