This week is National Apprenticeship Week and Qcom has once again committed to supporting the Apprenticeship programme throughout 2016.
Over the last 5 years we have brought on and trained a number of apprentices, all of whom have stayed with the business and secured full time employment. Jack Newbury, Jack Harding and Michael Wix secured roles on our Technical Helpdesk, Ashley Norman has a full time position in our workshop, Matthew and James Dolphin work within our stock & logistics team and Madeleine Reed, who was Qcom’s first Business and Administration apprentice, now provides support to our sales and finance teams.
Our current apprentices; Hayden Ashworth, Connor James and Alex Rogers, all work within our commissioning team while working towards their qualifications.
By combining workplace training with classroom learning, our apprentices have come on tremendously in the annual programme. Qcom believes passionately in the leadership and development of all its staff and continually invests in their training under the guidance of National Training Officer, Luke Hampton.
As part of our commitment to the Apprenticeship programme we have pledged to take on more apprentices throughout 2016.
